Recently, I went to the local big box store where I work and I thought I’d do something different for dinner. I decided to make beef fajitas with all of the trimmings! We had shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, tomato and the salsa. Everything I bought that day for out family fiesta came out perfectly. The beef was actually the best part. My husband practiced some Spanish words with my son and I. We had an awesome dinner which cost very little, and it made for a great memory. Our first family fiesta is now something we’ve been doing monthly. We’re on fiesta seven now!

Gas prices spike, no jobs, money doesn’t go nearly as far as it should. Even food prices have soared. I’m wondering when the recession will be over… The job I have is definitely not what I want. It also seems to be a complete waste of my time because there aren’t enough hours to even pay my bulls. I refuse to take out another loan to pay my heating bill. Living in New England can be unpredictable in terms of the weather, and now it’s the same rough goings trying to find a job that can support me and our family of three.

No doubt kitchen must be elegant and appealing but we must take care of the hygiene and cleanliness. Because ensuring good hygiene in our kitchen can prevent food poisoning. Hygiene is not just about cleaning but it refers to number of other things we can do to stop harmful bacteria reaching our plate. Food easily gets spoiled if left outside. To keep food healthy and prevent contamination, first we must keep kitchen surfaces spotlessly clean. Cleaning kitchen walls, corners & edges are equally important before cooking food. Crockery, eating and cooking utensils should be cleaned with detergent and hot water followed by rinsing. For surfaces which can’t be properly rinsed like kitchen surfaces, taps, door handles, use cleaning cloth. Similarly the chopping boards must be cleaned. Hygiene and cleanliness helps prevent infection and diseases.

At present I live in Mumbai, India. Mumbai is a great city to live and I simply love Mumbai. The city offers us plenty of opportunities and all people living here can do something to earn a living. The city is well known for Gateway of India. Apart from this the city has a number of tourist attractions such as temples, museums, art gallery and sea beaches. The tourists flock to the city throughout the year. Local trains are the main means of transportation and people commute to work in local trains. The city is very neat and clean and the people are ready to help each other. I simply love Mumbai.

If I could have anything in the world to live with it would be a big bungalow with a lot of space outside for garden. At present I stay in a small apartment. No doubt the apartment is located in a good locality and the people residing are also very helpful. But I always have a dream to live in a bungalow consisting of separate rooms for all including guest room. Since I’m very fond of gardening and if I have a bungalow I can have place outside to plant some trees. I have dreamt how I’m going to do the interiors of my bungalow and the furniture’s for each room.

Something that means a lot to me are my parents. They are very lovely and affectionate and it is very difficult for me to stay away from them. Though I stay far away from them still I make it a point to speak to them every day and usually pay a visit once a year. The love and affection which we get from our parents cannot be compared with anything else. No doubt they sometimes scold us but they are always there to help us and they mean a lot to me. I can do any sacrifice for the sake of my parents.

One of my favorite childhood memories which I remember till date was a surprise party given on my birthday. Usually my parents don’t celebrate my birthday in an elaborate manner. But once on my birthday they gave a huge party in the hotel about which I was not aware of. On my birthday I had gone to school and when I came back from school my parents asked me to accompany them. To me surprise they took me to a hotel which was decorated with balloons and a huge chocolate cake was place at the center. All my friends were invited and I was extremely happy to see them. It was a very nice party which I remember till date.

I enjoy going to the water and amusement park for fun. Whenever I’m free I plan a trip to the water park with my friends. I enjoy the water slides and the best thing which I like in Water Park is the wave pool where we have to take a tube and go inside. I also like the rain dance where continuous music goes on and water is sprayed from all sides. In amusement park we are able to enjoy a lot of rides. Some of the rides are such that we want to sit again and again. Since in our daily monotonous life we don’t get time for enjoyment whenever I’m free I go to these places for fun.

I had butter chicken with tandoori roti which is my all time favorite for dinner. Though I myself know how to make butter chicken still I prefer to have it outside in hotels because I don’t get the same taste when I make it at home. I simply cannot resist the aroma of butter chicken and usually have it once a month in hotels. Along with butter chicken I had dal makhani and vegetable kolhapuri. After having a delicious dinner I wanted to eat something sweet and so I had a special chocolate pudding. For me dinner is incomplete without sweet and I usually have some sweet after dinner.

Recession has affected almost all countries in some way or the other. Due to recession many people have lost job and though they have enough work experience still they are not able to get a suitable job. The effects of recession has been felt by almost all industries be it InfoTech, autos, capital goods and travel industry. Due to recession people are not going out anywhere and this has affected travel and tourism sector very much. The condition of those who have lost their job is pathetic and they feel themselves left off. The companies should try to do something for the employees instead of just throwing them out.
